Hello Christy, There was a Thomas P. Burns in Benton Co. Ark. He was the son of John Burns of Maury Co. TN. This John was one of 3 John Burns in originally Bedford Co. TN. He was in the Revolutionary War. I believe he served on the NC Line. I hope this helps you, Lorene Noennig
