Hi Cathy, My BURNS line supposely came from COLLIN COUNTY, TX. My grandfather CLAUD came from MELISSA, TX. The only proof that I have of this is I found my gfather on the 1920 census in Johnston, County, OK. It stated he was born in Tx, as was both patents. I have only verbal family history concerning the location....but everyone I have talked with has agreed on the county. Thanks so much for your reply.
