While everyone is talking Texas Burns, I'd like to throw my hubby's Burns out there again!! William K. Burns born 1819 in Alabama., married Mary Childres in 1843 in Bibb Co.,AL. In 1860 they are in Shelby Co.,AL. They later,about 1870, moved to Texas. They were in VanZandt Co.,Texas in 1880. Known children were: James 1844, Thomas 1846, Nancy 1848(our line), William 1852, and Adaline 1859. The daughter Nancy J. Burns, married John Sayers Armstrong in Kaufman Co.,Texas in 1871, and then lived in Smith Co.,Texas. Is there any family out there??
