Hello all, I'm researching the Burns name in the UK, and Australia, grandmothers two brothers that emigrated to Australia in 1888, and through to 1893/4. The names are Hugh Fraser Burns, born, 22 March 1867. Left North Yorkshire for London to sail on the 5th April 1887, arrived in Brisbane, Australia, on the 1st June 1887, on the boat, Waroonga. The second brother was, John Lindsay Burns, born 1877, emigrated in 1893/4, in addition his sister Elizabeth Burns, born, 1868, also emigrated with John. Its the two brothers I'm interested in. Hugh Fraser Burns, had two children, Hugh Fraser Burns, born 30 December. 1891. Second child William John Burns, born 6th December, 1893. Mothers name unknown. John Lindsay Burns, married Francis Louisa Cook, 30 January,1907. Children, Marjorie Mary Burns, born 29 November,1908. Joyce Ann Burns, born 30 December. 1909.
