Good Morning List! I am new to the Burns list and am searching for the following Burns family: Alonzo Burns served in the Nebraska 2nd Regt as a Corporal. He enlisted 24 February 1863 - his residence was listed as Nemaha City, Nemaha County, Nebraska. Alonzo b: about 1844 (according to military rooster) Alonzo married Alzenia (BOATMAN) MOSIER 13 July 1867 in Richardson County, Nebraska. Alzenia had previously married William MOSIER who died during the Civil War. She had two daughters: Adeline MOSIER and Olive MOSIER. Alonzo's family may be: (1860 Federal Census Nemaha County, Nebraska) William Burns age 45 b: VT (William born Guildhall, VT to Edward Burns of Guildhall, VT?) Lydia Burns age 43 b: PA Mary Burns age 18 b: PA Alonzo Burns age 16 b: PA William Burns age 14 b: PA James Burns age 12 b: PA Esther Burns age 10 b: PA David Burns age 7 b: OH Fuller Burns age 5 b: OH Catherine Burns age 3 b: OH George Burns age 5/12 b: NE I would appreciate any "clue" concerning Alonzo and Alzenia (Boatman) Mosier Burns.
