You said you were looking for "Mattie Alice Burns in 1891 she married Wiley E Murphy". Look at the info from the 1900 Lauderdale Co., AL Census below. On the 1900 Census (only 8 years after they were married) for Lauderdale Co., AL, there is a "Willey E. Murphy" and a "Martha Burns", both on page 74B (I'm assuming, hoping, thinking, they are on the page as a couple!)! Remember I told you to keep watch, because often "Mattie" is short or a nickname for Martha, Margret, Mary, etc? As soon as possible, I would go to your local genealogy library or FHC, and look up the 1900 Census for Lauderdale Co., AL and see if perhaps this is your Wiley E.
