I've "rescued" two old photographs belonging to the ROWE Family of Pennsylvania. The first is a photograph of Jim ROWE taken at the DeWitt Studio in Scranton, PA. The photograph was probably taken in the 1880's with Jim looking to be in his 30's or 40's at the time. The second is a photograph of Jimmy ROWE taken at the Frey Studio in Scranton, PA also probably during the 1880's when Jimmy was just an infant. Based on limited research I believe that these may be photographs of James Henry ROWE and his son James Burns ROWE b. 20 April 1891 at Scranton, PA. James Burns ROWE died in Scranton, PA in May 1977, his Mother was Agnes BURNS. The photographs were recovered with others belonging to the MONGAN, BRITIAN, CLARK, PRICE, DOUGLASS, and LORD Families of Scranton, PA; Brooklyn, NY; Jermyn, PA; and Madison, NJ; I'm hoping to locate someone from this ROWE Family so that the photographs can be returned to the care of family.
