I am interested in the BURNS family that were in Louisana in the mid 1800s, especially ARTHUR WATSON BURNS who married MARGARET ELIZABETH WISE. If there are any connections, I would love to hear from you! He may have been Blakely's brother NOT father. As far as locale, I have been told by a family researcher that they came from Lenarkshire, Scotland. I never saw any documentation, but I do suspect it is true. I also never heard from him again and would have loved to. If there is anyone else out there who fits in this line on any sides, I would love to hear from you ... Thank you all so much!
