Jackie, Elizabeth and William are given names that show up in my Burns ancestry. The information I have collected to date indicates that early settlement of our Burns relatives was in the Carolinas, then in Eastern Kentucky. One of Malinda's children (Carlo, we think, settled in the Big Stone Gap area of Virginia. Her daughter Katherine married a John Celley/Seely (not sure of spelling)and moved to Wyandotte, Michigan. We are reasonably sure they came to the United States from Scotland or northern Ireland. Beyond that, we are still doing lots of guessing! Good luck with your continued search. Pamela
