I am interested in following the results of this project. Where will you be posting the results? Are there any Burns participants from the south Georgia/north Florida area? Unfortunately, I know of no male Burns from my line, or I would get thrm to participate. Please see what the Overstreet project has done to help researchers with their lines and consider a similar setup. No need to reveal participants, just the lines they represent. http://www.overstreetdna.com/Y-DNA%20COMPARISONS.htm Virginia -----Original Message----- From: Norma R Farmilo [mailto:norma@naples.net] Sent: Saturday, August 28, 2004 6:58 PM To: BURNS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [BURNS] Burns DNA I'm now the Administrator for the Family Tree Burns DNA Project. The test is so easy - just swab the inside of your cheek. The 12 Marker test is good for genealogy purposes only. It will tell within 14 generations if you are related. This is the next step in proving your research and pointing you in the right direction. Please join us.
