Hello all, I am just posting this info in the event someone new has joined and may be connected. I am looking for ANY info on my sister's father, John Lonnie Burns. We know he was born sometime between 1925-1935. At the time, he was with out mother, he lived in Colorado. Either Denver or Colorado Springs. He was imprisoned in 1954 for either grand theft or robbery though we are not sure exactly when, but our mother visited him in prison when she was pregnant with my sister who was born in December of that year. My sister says the last she had heard was that he was living in Wichita Kansas and had a family. That is about all the info we have on him. My sister is supposed to send for a copy of her birth certificate to see if there is any more info on him, but she tends to take quite awhile to do things. Stacey, Have you all tried the social security death index? I generally check it out on familysearch.org. It may help you to at least narrow it down!
