Hello Pamela, I too am searching for the Burns family. Mine I believe were in Ohio but I have family stories that Martin Burns was born in Iowa. Family names, Elizabeth Mae, William H. , Mary J , and Martin, . Do you have any of these names? You are correct in that it is a hard name to follow because of the common names among the family.
