Hello Mary, That is a possibility. But I don't know where for sure My Gr. Grandfather was born. My mother used to say Glasgow. But I'm not sure of the accuracy. I had his immigration papers at one time, copies from the courthouse. I'll just have to get copies again. But as I recall it said nothing of his birthplace. It did show a "sponsor"?
