How strange, the first part of your post sure sounds like my elusive William, but obviously cannot be. My William was b. 2-12-1808 in Maryland. His father was from Ireland, and mother from Maryland, per the census information, though I do not have their names. My William lived in Lancaster Co. Pa., and d. 12-10-1870.
