    3. Hi Nancy, Thank you for your response. My William Burns was born to Blakely Burns and Lucy Moon on 18 December, 1813 apparently in Sweden, Monroe, NY. He married Juliette Belote on 22 December, 1836. She died in 1849. Their children were Emory, Squire, Milton, Sylvia, William Harris. Blakely Burns was apparently born in Dutchess County, NY in 1779 and died in 1856 in Almena, Van Buren, New York. Lucy Moon was born in DutchessCo., NY on 15 Sep, 1780 and died in 1854 place unknown to me. They had Squire, William and Abel. I don't know if any of this will help you or not, but thanks for writing to me about it all. 3. I'd like to make some contacts with anyone doing Burns research in Wakulla Co. I know that my Burns from Leon Co had 'hundreds' of cousins in Wakulla Co, and I've run into a roadblock with my Michael "Mack" Burns. I know that he came from Georgia, and was born around 1824. He was married to Elizabeth (Lizzie or Eliza) Geddie and had several children, including my g.g-father Anthony (Tony) Burns as well as Ellen, Amanda, John J, and Alexander. I'm guessing there is a relation to Bartholomew Burns, but I have no proof. Anyone?

She was b. 1-1-1820 Shannon, Claire Co, Ireland, d. 5-5-1895 Atlanta, IL. They both came to the states around 1832. The first I find them is 1850 census Monroe Co., Coolbaugh Twp, PA with a son, Francis (Franklin) Kelley Burns b. April 1850. Then in 1852 son Peter was b. and by 1854 when my g.grandfather was b. they were in Atlanta, IL. From the 'naming' pattern of the Irish, I assume John's dad would be either Francis or Peter???? 3. I am thinking that that Anthony and my Anthony are one in the same, but I have been unable to prove it. Every document I get, that I think might have Anthony's parents' names on it, comes up negative. I've ordered his death certificate and his obituary; hopefully one of those two will come up positive. The marriage license told me nothing (other than the church they were married in) I had previously contacted the church historian, but she is at least 3 weeks behind in her research. -----Original Message----- From: BURNS-D-request@rootsweb.com [mailto:BURNS-D-request@rootsweb.com] Sent: Tuesday, November 25, 2003 4:00 PM To: BURNS-D@rootsweb.com Subject: BURNS-D Digest V03 #91
