    3. I have Oscar married to an Emma. They had 3 children, Lillie 1874, Anna L. 1878 Walter C 1880. Oscar died in Fort Worth Texas, at the home of his daughter Anna in 1931.     3. Hello, I was wondering if anyone has information on William A. Burns, born 16 Feb 1814/1818. He married Malinda Cynthia Unknown, born 1813 in Tennessee. Their Children: Oscar Burns 11 May 1839 confederate solider. I have copy of pension papers. Madison S. Burns 1842 William Dallas Burns 22 Jul 1845 Mary C. Burns 1847 Sarah Louisa Burns 22 Feb 1849 Walker A. Burns 1852 Malinda Cynthia Burns 1855 The children were born in Limestone County Texas. Thank You, Susan Roberts

Some sources have father as Private James Burns of the 7th Company of the 2nd Battalion, 84th Regt or of Private John Burns of the 9th Company of the 2nd Battalion, 84th Regt. The could be New Brunswick connections. He married Eleanor Frizzel in 1805 in Windsor, NS. Their children were listed as belonging to the Church of England. Any information would be appreciated.
