Cheek moved to GA w/sons and was given English Crown grant. "The Burneys From North Carolina" by Pauline Burney Brightman covers the family. John II left a will in MS in 1805. He and wife Moore ( Irwin)I both died in 1805 as did his brother in law Hugh Irwin. If you can't locate the book, let me know and I will see if it has anything you might need.
