NC) but I've never seen any list of their children. My great great grandfather was William Allen Burney (b. 1825 or 1828).He married Patience Lodemia Albertson (b. 1848) in 1866 (Guilford Co. NC). One of their children, Mary Emma (b.1868) married George Lindsay Kirkman. They are my great grandparents. Does anyone know who the children of John Burney and Lydia Short were? William Allen Burney listed his mother as being Lydia B. 1795 on a document and this is why I'm researching John and Lydia Burney.
