Does anyone have any information on William Burney who migrated to the Ouachita Valley area of the Louisiana Territory in 1797? He apparently had sons, William, James and John---all who died as very young men, and a daughter Ann who married a James Barton in Ouachita Parish, La. in 1821? We are interested in knowing where William Sr. lived prior to coming to the Ouachita (with the Baron de Bastrop migration).
