(George) Burney, died Thursday February 21, 1991 at Rosewood Hospital in Houston. Born January 15, 1901 in Bonham (Fannin County) Texas. Retired from the Sanborn Map Company in 1970 and was a member of their twenty year club. He has been employed at Yorktown Apartments for the past fifteen years, retiring in July 1990. He attended T.C.U. and was a member of the National Guard during World War II. Survivors: wife of 50 years, Lora Mae; daughter and son-in-law Jim and Shirley Brown; grandson Randy Brown; sisters Thelma Guthrie and Dorothy Wood; mother-in-law Annie Bridwell. Graveside services 11am February 25, 1991 at Memorial Oaks Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers: Ted Seman, Bob Renn, John Musgrove, Bob Shutt, Clarence Beers, Bill Yoakum, Bob McAndrews.
