Hi all, I'm trying to find the parents of John Burney b. ca. 1710, d. 1761 in Orange Co., NC, m. Elizabeth Cheek d/o Richard Cheek and Jane (Randolph) Lowery. Does anyone know his birthplace or parents' names? My line is from his son William; then through William's daughter Catherine Burney who m. Samuel Peter Rourk of Bladen Co. NC.
