My Great Grandmother was Sarah Jane Burney, born Mississippi in 1876. I believe in Attala Co.she was 4 years old and in the household of B. Burney and V. A. Burney. She married when quiet young according to the census of 1900 for Caddo Parish,Louisiana; her first childs age is listed as being born in 1887. This is probably not her child but my Great Grandfathers by a previous marriage, he is John Holland Massey born 1856 in Mississippi and died in Miller Co.,Arkansas 1910 before the Census was taken. I think her father's name may be Benjamin as she named her third son by that name. I may be contacted at anafarris1@juno.com also.
