    3. Boy.. you are outside my immediate knowledge. I haven't studied this side of the family too well. There is a great forum for this though.... I will forward your email to it... BURNEY-L-request@rootsweb.com You need to send this address an email with the word subscribe in the "subject" area of your email form and also in the body of your message by itself... no other text. This will connect you to the Burney researchers via e-mail and you may find a connection. "Bonney A. McClellan" <bmcclell@unr.net> Bonney is a good BURNEY researcher and "Brian E. Michaels" <michaels_b@popmail.firn.edu> Brian is also a Burney researcher. I'm sure you will find others. Sorry I can't help you more but I just don't know this line well enough yet. - Bill Brooks, Vista, CA Mad1812@aol.com wrote: > > I am the gggrand daughter of David r. 1. [BURNEY] Catherine Belle Burney Dale
    2. I am desperately seeking information, or at least some direction. I am seeking info on William Dale, or his wife Catherine Burney Dale. She was from Edinburg, Scotland. They married there about 1824, came to this country by way of Baltimore about 1830. They migrated to Ms. by 1838, then to La. by 1847. I think she may be buried in Natchez, Ms. I would at least like to know how I might trace anything about her in Scotland. Thanks to anyone who has taken the time to least read this. Mike Dale...
