Her father was ROBERT BURN, her mother ANN maiden name unknown, the only marriage I have found on the IGI which looks like it might fit is in 1821, and Ann's name is HILL. Other children born to a Robert Burn and wife Ann in St Saviour, Southwark, that I have found on the IGI are - ROBERT BURN - born May 1822 Christened - June 1822 Died - April 1823 JAMES BURN - born May 1824 Christened - May 1824 ELIZABETH CHAPMAN BURN Christened - July 1828 ROBERT CHAPMAN BURN Christened - July 1828 MARIA BURN Christened - January 1831 I do not know if they are related or not, but it does seem likely. ANN NEWMAN BURN married THOMAS HAMMANT in 1853, the spelling of Hammant on the certificate looks like Hammond, but it is Hammant. Ann and Thomas had a son called JOSEPH, in 1865, Bermondsey, Surrey UK. Does anyone have any connection with or any information about, the above BURN family?? Lois
