My mum has traced it back and tied it in with the Cave Society tree. They go to the meeting every year. I traced my grandmother back through the female line via the names Symes and Goff. She was curious about where a Gertrude Burn, second cousin who lived in London, fitted in. It was by doing this that I found William Burn, schoolmaster in Newport Pagnell in 1851 and born in 1789 in Kingston, Hants (sorry not Winchester, I got a bit confused there) Not sure if any of this helps!
