My great-grandfather was Frederick Burn b1887 (my grandmother was his daughter Jean) , so I'm very interested in the fact that your partner is a 2xgreat grandchild of his. To my knowledge there are only 8 of his descendants in that generation (5 through his son Harley and 3 through his daughter Freda) and only one is realistically old enough to have a partner so I think I know who your partner is. What you have found out is all the same as what I have I think but perhaps we could message each other privately to share info? His father William Burn b1791 Middlesex was a licensed Publican and was married to an Jane Lee b1791 Middlesex. having trouble going further back then this. William Burn b1840 and Mary Jane March b1857 had a son called Frederick Burn b:4th Feb 1887 Mile End Old Town London was my partners x2Great Grandfather Frederick Burn b1887 was Married to Ada Jane Backhouse b: 11th Jul 1886. However have found out that Mary Jane March b1857 Limehouse parents are John March b1822 Bridport Dorset and Mary Ann Lewis b1822 Yeovil Somerset. Mary Ann Lewis b1822 Somerset parents were James lewis and mother was called Sarah but surname unknown. John March b1822 Dorset Parents were William March b1796 dorset and mother was Jane Cox b1801 dorset. I'm not sure how correct this is: Mary Jane Lewis/March's mother Jane Cox b1801 had a sister called Ann Cox cant find out any more info on her. I don't have much info on Charles Edwin his wife Elizabeth Northmore and their family except for the 1911 census when they were at 63 Adam Street, Cardiff. My line runs through Charles' younger sister Emily BURN who married Arthur Benjamin HINDER. I have got a 12" by 10" family wedding picture of the family at Emily Burn's son Samuel HINDER in 1906. I also have death certificates for Daniel Abraham & wife Caroline (these two are also in the wedding pciture). If we can share any info or documents that would be great. I am in the Cardiff area.
