    3. Hi everyone! Here's an obituary that Lynn found on one of our Berkheisers. I'll have it up on the tree when I do the next update. Hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving! :-) Rick B -------------------- Berkheiser, Leroy Warren View/Sign Guest Book Leroy Warren Berkheiser, 92, a resident of Shell Point Village, Fort Myers, Fla., went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Oct. 16, 2007. Leroy moved to Sarasota, Fla., in 1977 and then to Shell Point Village in 1991. Born Dec. 30, 1914, in Orwigsburg, he was a son of the late Ammon and Edna Berkheiser. At the age of 2, Leroy moved to Philadelphia and later graduated from Temple University. He was the buyer of building materials for Lumberman Merchandising Corp., Wayne. He also taught typing in the Philadelphia evening schools for 25 years. Leroy was never married. Leroy retained a keen interest in foreign missions and sought out the fellowship of Christian believers on his many world cruises. He had been in fellowship at Fellowship Bible Chapel, Cape Coral, Fla., and always had a cheerful disposition and wanted everyone to know that he had placed his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Graveside services and burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Salem Evangelical Cemetery, Orwigsburg. Memorials may be sent to ECS Ministries, P.O. Box 1028, Dubuque, IA 52004.
