Burkhiser. I am 99% sure that she was the daughter of Adam W. Fox, 1839-1896 and Sarah Jane Owens, both buried in Livingston Cemetery in Appanoose County. Adamn Fox was the son of Elias Fox, who established the large Fox family in Appanoose. Elias was married to Elizabeth Moss. Herb Arkin has recorded Elizabeth's lineage in his huge site about the Wright family which in various lines settled in southern Iowa and Appanoose County.
