I've just sent the latest update of the family database to Worldconnect a few moments ago. http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=berkheiser The changes and additions included are updates to Leroy Warren Berkheiser, and the Berghaeuser database has been added. Jeffrey Berkheiser, our resident Swiss Resident, took a trip to Germany in 2000 and was able to do some research on the Berkheiser Family origins. He's had his copy up on Worldconnect for several years now, and I've just completed adding the information to our main database. Working from some handwritten notes Jeff sent me several years ago, I took his information a step further. Based on Jeff's guestimations, I connected a couple of the Berghaeusers to our direct lineage to Wilhelm Berkheiser, our immigrant ancestor. This makes for a very compelling family tree once you view it in its entirety. Special thanks goes out to Cousin Jeff for bringing this important information to light!
