    1. [BURKHISER] Berkheiser Changes and Upgrades
    2. Richard Berkheiser
    3. Hi everyone! Starting today, the now famous or infamous? :-) BERKHEISER NOTES will cease to exist in its current form. I felt that particular venue had run its course and it was time to upgrade to a different way of keeping all of you informed regarding Berkheiser research. Even though I'm making some changes, some things will remain the same. The photo site is still there to be viewed although I do need to update it with some new old photos that have surfaced. Something new for us to use as a group. I just set up a new mailing list at Rootsweb for us called the BERKHEISER List. The Berkheiser Message Board is also gatewayed to the list for those of you that follow those postings. Unless someone in our group does not want to be subscribed to the new list, please let me know. Otherwise, I'm going to subscribe everyone to the new list. I'm going to keep my current group listing in my address book so if anything new does turn up, I'll still post it that way. Also something new. A few days ago I uploaded my entire database to World Connect which can be viewed at the link below. http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=berkheiser Any information on living individuals should not be showing after 1930. However, we have a couple of people that are still living that were born before 1930. If you don't wish to be shown, let me know and I'll move the cut off year to 1920. Please feel free to look things over and if you see something that needs to be changed either e-mail me privately, use the Post it Note feature or post to the new list. I'll do my best to honor all requests and changes. I'm adding new stuff almost daily so I'll be updating my World Connect file every couple of weeks, and these updates will be announced on the new list and other related Rootsweb lists. I still view this project as a group effort and I still welcome any and all submissions and additions. We still have one in our group that's still unconnected so maybe putting it all out there to view might be helpful in this effort. Without all of you, the Berkheiser family tree wouldn't look like it does now. Special thanks as always goes to Gregory Phillips for paving the way through Pennsylvania. He will always hold a special place in the Berkheiser Family History. :-) Thanks Gregory! Again, if you do not wish to be included on the BERKHEISER Mailing List at Rootsweb, please let me know. It really won't work any differently from the way I'm sending you this note so it won't be generating anymore e-mail in your Inbox unless somebody starts a discussion on the list. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks! Your Cousin Rick
