Born in Frackville, Sept. 9, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Hreshko Uhryn. A lifelong resident of Frackville, she attended Frackville schools. She was employed in the custodial and food service departments of the Frackville and North Schuylkill School Districts, retiring in 1985. She was a lifelong member of St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville, and its Sacred Heart Society. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, John, on Sept. 9, 1985; two brothers, Harry Uhryn and John Rynn; two sisters, Anna Kislock and Helen S. Chabin. Surviving are a son, the Rev. John M., Warrington; two daughters, Diane M. Berkheiser and Mary Anne Whyne, both of Frackville; a sister, Mary Urland, Emmaus; two brothers, Michael Rynn, Frackville, Stephen S. Ryan, Las Vegas, Nev.; four grandchildren; a great-grandson; nieces and nephews. Funeral Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Butler Township. Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville, is in charge of arrangements.
