I believe his father was Anton Burkey who was born in 1838. His mother's name was Emma. Anton's father was Swiss and his mother was from France. I think they might be part of the family you have described here. I grew up in Tacoma Washington where my grandfather settled with his wife Rose (Bannon). I wonder if Anton was the child of one of the families you mention, which I guess would be my great great grandfather. can you help me??
