I will be glad to share what we have found on the Burkey family. My husband's grandfather was Joseph Burkey, b in Princeton, Bureau County, Illinois. His father was Andrew Burkey. Andrew had a brother named Joseph and also one named John, Jr. Their father was John Burkey, b. about 1777 in Alsace-Lorain, France.
