Surnames: BURKEY, WALBERT, GILTNER Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/CmG.2ACIB/55.1 Message Board Post: I have discovered that Elizabeth Verdila BURKEY (aka Verdila Elizabeth BURKEY) was married in 1887 to Martin Luther WALBERT, and have sent for the marriage license at the Pottsville PA courthouse, which will hopefully yield more info about Verdila's correct birthdate, names of her parents and her place of birth (I know it is PA, but *where* in PA?). I found her in a few of the census indexes and directories (1890, 1900, 1910) in Tamaqua, Schuylkill co., PA. After Martin WALBERT died, she married a William GILTNER. I never did find any of these folks when I walked the IOOF cemetery in Tamaqua. Anyone here descended from siblings of Verdila Elizabeth BURKEY?
