George Albert Burkey(my great grandad), b. 1871, Ness, was a journeyman stonemason, and quite a rogue. His father was George Burkey, b. 1846, his father was William Burkey b.1825, then James Burkey b. 1795, and his father was James Burkey married to Alice, but I can't take the name any further back.
