George L. Logson and Sally Ma Kinzie were my gggggrand parents. They did have male children and one of them was my ggggrandfather Aaron he was born Madison County Kentucky on May 7, 1821. The Logsdons came to Il in 1852.I know nothing about Nettie but have a lot of info on the Lodsdon line. I hope I have the facts straight but I am pretty sure we are talking about the same line here. Hi, I am looking for *any* information about my great great grandmother Verdilla "Dill" Burkey who married Martin Luther Walbert and lived in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania; and had daughters Essie and Elizabeth Lucinda Walbert. They may have had sons, too. My grandmother tells me that Martin Luther Walbert died and Verdilla remarried a Giltner (spelling is uncertain). Verdilla lived in Tamaqua PA in the late 1800s through the early 1900s. Elizabeth Lucinda Walbert married Edward Brode and they had the following children: John, Charles, Wesley, Luther, and Mildred Elizabeth. Mildred Elizabeth Brode Smith is my grandmother. I plan to visit the Tamaqua OddFellows cemetery later this summer, because I am told Verdilla is buried there. If anyone can give me any information in the meantime, I would be very grateful! Recently I have found some new information about my great grandmother Lorinda Berkey Ott. I have certified copy of the marriage license from the Elkhart Co. Clerk. The license lists her name as Lorinda L. Berkey and the marriage date as 19 April 1866 by Rev. L L Forbes. This confirms the information found in the marriage index found at Genealogy Library.Com. I also have new information from the 1870, 1880 and 1900 Federal Census of Andrew Co. MO. These census records show Lorinda as born in Michigan in May of 1846. Lorinda and George Ott's first born Winfield Scott Ott is shown as born in MI in 1867. The 1900 census of Andrew Co. MO shows Lorinda's father as born in VA and her mother was born MD. Hi, I am looking for information on a Hannah E. Burkey. I have unsubstaniated information that her parents might have been Joseph BURKEY and Elizabeth EBERLEY. I know that she married Theodore J. WAREHAM in 1864 in Franklin Co., OH and had one child with him - Damarus May WAREHAM b. Feb. 16, 1866 Franklin Co., OH. Hannah and Theo were divorced in Franklin Co., OH sometime between 1878 and 1888(I have 3 conflicting dates from Theo's pension papers, so I'm not sure which is right if any of them are). I think that Hannah remarried to a man named Amos ROHR, probably in Franklin Co., OH. If anybody has any info on these people, I would love to hear from you.
