It was found in the belongings of Ruth Dienelt , retired secretary from College of Notre Dame at Belmont, CA. Ruth, a widow, lived in San Mateo Co. CA and Maude was her good friend. Ruth had no children and left her bible to my niece. Tucked in the bible were these notes about the Bonner family – possibly in Maude’s handwriting I am typing them exactly as they appear except I am using b. for born and d. for died. (On a stationery size paper and typed): Bonner, Andrew William b. 8-25-1852 d. 7-21-1904 Bonner, Eleanore Charlotte (nee Burke) b. 9-14-1857 d. 10-14-1929 Married July 17, 1879 4 Sons – 3 Daughters Robert Oscar b. 9-25-1880 d. 9-12-1960 Maude Agnes b. 2-03-1884 d. 12-24-1887 Francis Augustus b. 5-20-1885 d. 3-06-1954 Claude Andrew b. 7-25-1888 d. 10-6-1941 Elizabeth “Maude” Agnes b. 12-24-1890 Joseph Edgar b. 3-06-1894 d. 2- ?-1961 Eleanore Burke Callista b. 7-20-1896 d. 4-26-1952 Robert married Mayme (Mary) Collins in 1911 Francis married Celestine Horine in 1913 Claude married Nonie Sweeney in 1911 Maude (the 2nd) married Frank Nartic in 1934 Joseph married Mabel Helin in 1922 Eleanore died unmarried. Canada 11 children John – Mary – Annie Eliz. – Martin – Richard Sarah – Thomas – James Eleanore - Catherine Note: There is (Custer) squeezed in between Richard and James which are on two different lines. Nixon which will give one an idea of when the notes were written. ------------------------------------ First side of third tiny piece of paper: Jacob’s 12 Sons - Ruben - Simeon - Levi - Juda - Zabulon - Issachar - Dan - Gad - Aser - Nephthali - Joseph - Benjamin - The 2nd side has the same names but in a more scribbled form.
