Hi List, Please accept my apology to all that have e-mailed me regarding when their ancestor died or what the cause of death was in the State Hospital - I have no idea. My post was - the 1900 census and these people were living in the State Hospital on the 1900 census. I have no way of knowing when a loved one died, why they were put in this hospital, who committed them - I only found a list of the names and birthdates of people in this institution` on the 1900 census and thought I could help with our research.
