John Burke and wife(name unknown) and 3 boys possibly 4, names Will, Dick and Arthur and a girl Clara emigrated to Michigan probably 1869 or early 1870. A son was born in Michigan Oct. 10,1870 named Oscar (my grandfather) and he went to Ontario, Canada in 1881 at the apparent age of 10 or 11. I do not believe that he went with his parents so likely with an older brother. I have a photograph of Clara taken in Lincoln, Nebraska and she would appear to be in her 20s. Clara married someone named Knapp and had 2 children named Wayne and Irene. I also have a picture of one of her brothers taken at Conats Riverside Gallery Manistee, Michigan he would appear to be in his 30s. Any other information is a guess I was told that they lived around Bay City Also Benton Harbor. If anyone can see any possible connections they would be much appreciated. Always Hoping Murray Burke.
