James' father, Bernard Burke was from the Irish Free State. That is all I know about him, Katherine was widowed early due to James' passing in 1908. Her and her family are in the 1920 and 1930 census. All that I have is that the children John,Marie, Joseph, and Thomas were born in the USA, mainly Pennsylvania. I am interested in finding a birth certificate for James Burke born between 1866-67 in Ireland Died January 11, 1908. Father Bernard Burke of Irish Free State. No dates of birth or death. All my aunt tells me is that Bernard never left Ireland. James married a Katherine Casey on July 9, 1889 in Ireland or USA, I am not sure.
