Since so many people have the same Irish names research in the United States is usually necessary to learn which county in Ireland was the residence of the people. I suggest you try to get baptism records for the children in Pittsburgh and see if they provide the birth place of the parents. Also the baptism sponsors could be related which may help. Perhaps the marriage cert for James & Katherine is in the same church as the children's baptism. Also the death certificate for James Burke could identify where in Ireland he was born.
