I do not know for sure which of my ancestors went to KY. Bartlet Yancey Burke would be my ggggrandpa. Henry is my grandpa and Hollis is my dad, all deceased. Benjamin is Henry's dad. Bartlett Yancey was in GA by 1860. Can't find him in 1850. He may have gone to KY. Some suspect there were more than one Bartlett Yancey, Father and son, since there is confusion over the names of the wives and dates of marriage. Do you think your dad would have any informtion that would help you? If he has an ancestor named Bartlett Yancey, (either of those names) or Benjamin I would be very interested to know.
