First time posting the following: >From Marriage Extract - Ontario. My Great Grandparents: Place of Marriage: Toronto Date: Oct. 10, 1871 Catherine Dwyer Burke: age 18; born Dover, England d/o Michael and Mary Burke Dover,England religion: Church of England Richard Lawrence Brennan: age 26; b. West Point N.Y. religion: Church of England s/o William and Ann Brennan West Point, N.Y. Does anyone have them in their files? 1. Can't seem to locate records in either area, even though we know for certain that R.L. Brennan had 1 brother Henry; 3 sisters Alice, Grace and Daisy. All born West Point. Henry was instructor at West Point Military Academy. R.L. received USA vets' pension. Said to have been in Boer and Civil wars. More likely the latter going by date of birth (1844-45) Found some data on Civil War Page thanks to a Civil War researcher. 2. Catherine's Father said to have been a shipping merchant in England. How does one check that out? 2 other daughters: 1- (Ellen married a lawyer in Muskoka area.) 3. Nothing coming up on either of their sisters. ALSO: 4. 2 of their sons: William born Ontario aft. 1871 moved to Helena Montana, later Missoula, then apparently to Butte. Have been trying to locate his family for 2 years without luck. Ditto for son Hubert who moved to New York, died there. Both had families. Where are they? Anyone have them? Thanks Aileen
