My aunt was named Beulah Griffith Burk and we have not been able to figure out the Griffith connection. Our Burks came from South Carolina, Tennessee and Arkansas - in that order. We don't know where they came from prior to SC. I think it was probably North Carolina. Wonder if this would be a connection maybe? We are from James Burk b. 1759 and Barbara Briggs b. 1762. One source says they came from North Carolina and moved to SC but nothing concrete to go on.
