    3. I think you refer to Gonzales County, Texas. I'm from Texas and I've never heard of "Conzales" County so I decided to check it out and see where it was and it is not listed. Have you been to the GenWeb site for Gonzales? http://www.rootsweb.com/~txgonzal/ I'll bet that's where you need to look. As for the nickname, there was a band of outlaws named Gonzales in the 1800s and it could be that to be referred to as Gonzales was like being called "Outlaw".
