Hi, I'm new to this list and thought I throw out what I know in hopes of finding a connection Matthew Burke was born abt1810 Ireland d.1882Mich Matthew Burke married 1845 to Jane Connell( born 1827 Tipperary died 1849 Hamilton Ontario ). This marriage took place at St. Mary's church Hamilton Ontario witnesses to marriage were Ann McIntosh & Patrick Luirie(last name unclear) Matthew's death records state parents were John Burk & Jane.(Not sure if mother's name iscorrect as same as his deceasded wife,who passed 30 years before his death) Matthew Burke & Jane Connell Burke had 2 children Patrick Burke b.1847 Hamilton Ontario & my gr grandmother Catherine Burke Donoghue b.1848 Matthew is found in 1851& 1861 Wentworth co. Ontario census . He did sign one of these Bourke. His occupation was teamster. Would love to find where in Ireland Matthew came from & when immigrated to Canada. Siblings and other family members are also always a great find. I also would like to find the family of Patrick Burke b.1847 Thanks for your time Karen Donoghue in Indiana
