She has been a resident of Peoria and Tazewell counties since infancy. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Wiles, was born in Ohio, March 4, 1842. Her husband died in Peoria May 18, 1910. Since his death, Mrs. Burk has resided at various times with her sons in Peoria. Six sons and one sister, all of Peoria; John, William, Christian, Thomas, Edward and Joseph, and Mrs. Julia Defenbaugh, survive. Funeral services will be held at the Wilton mortuary chapel Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will follow in Fon du Lac cemetery, E. Peoria.
