The Rev. Athanasius Ostmeyer will officiate. Burial will be in St.Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday and the rosary will be recited at 8. Mrs. Burk was the widow of Christ Burk, whom she married in Peoria June 28, 1893. He died here July 2, 1935. A lifelong resident of this community, she was born in Peoria county Feb 15, 1871, a daughter of David and Regina Streibich Maurath. She was a member of St.Boniface Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary society of the parish. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Florence Frietsch and Mrs. Rosella Meyer, both of Peoria' three sons, Joseph C. Burk, of Springfield, Edward E. Burk, of Lowell, Mass.; and Wilbur D.
