I'm looking for the family of Roland Harrison BURKS. He was born in KY on January 10, 1813 and died in Hardin County, TN on August 2, 1852. He and wife Mary T. Pratt had 13 children. Some remained in TN and at least two of his younger sons and Mary T. Pratt moved to Texas by 1870. The youngest child, Green Clinton Burks, is my ancestor. Green was born on December 8, 1851 in Hardin County, TN and died in TX on November 8, 1917. I have not found any information about the parents or siblings of Roland Harrison Burks. I do not know the KY county of his birth. I would be glad to hear from anyone who is researching this same line of the Burks family.
