My Willis Burks was born in Kentucky, about 1784, and married Nancy Tempe Webb from South Carolina. Among their many children was Nancy Adeline Burks, born February 2, 1828 in Tennessee. Nancy is my great-grandmother's grandmother. On December 23, 1849, Nancy Burks married Miles Horner Burris in Miller County, MO. Willis Burks die after 1870. I am seeking information on Willis and Nancy, and their children. Willis has been my brick wall for several years, and any help would be appreciated.
